Responsible for processing personal data in connection with the use of the OMERO platform at https://www.histolution-images.com.
We process personal data in the context of providing and using the OMERO platform for various purposes. This includes, in particular, the management of user accounts, such as authentication during login or the assignment of roles and permissions. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the user agreement.
In addition, we process data for the technical administration of the platform, to ensure operational security, and for error analysis. These measures are based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure the continuous functionality and security of the platform.
When visiting and using OMERO, the following data may be collected and processed:
– IP address
– Date and time of the access
– Login name, email address
– Role and permission assignments
– Uploaded image/research data (only within the scope of the user agreement)
A user account is required to use the platform. The data collected for this purpose (e.g., name, email address) is used exclusively for access control and user management.
OMERO uses technically necessary cookies and session IDs to ensure login security and user guidance. No processing for analytics or tracking purposes takes place without your consent.
